Our staff of guides at
Ben's Bait and Tackle will make your trip to the Canada
safe and enjoyable. We have lived here in the
Garden River Reserve our whole lives and know how to get
you to the fish. Our huge Pink Salmon runs start as
early as August some years. By mid September
runs of wild Kings show up and add to the excitement. Each September we team up
with Steelhead School Adventure Travel and Don Mathews.
We set up a streamside camp on one of the most
productive sections of stream in the Garden River
Reserve. We can offer world Class Pink and King
Salmon fly fishing to our guests. It is a beautiful wild
remote setting with no crowds. In the Spring it's
steelhead time on the feeders of the Garden River. Our
streams have resident trout year round. In the
summer months we offer trips on the St.Mary's River in
our boats or bring your own. We hold a Salmon
derby each August. Plus we have a bait and tackle shop,
rental campers, boat docks, and a double boat launch.
